Making A Purchase
Terms, Conditions & Warranty V3.00
1) Unless otherwise stated, new goods are sold with a one year warranty, however, some items may be sold with an extended warranty of up to ten years. Used goods will be clearly described as such and will be sold with a 30 day warranty. The relevant warranty period will be shown on our website as part of the product description. Your invoice should be kept as proof of entitlement to the warranty and your invoice will state the length of the warranty that applies. Warranty periods begin on the invoice date. The warranty period which is in place at the time of purchase will apply, even if a different warranty period is subsequently applied to that product. The warranty period applies to items purchased through this webstore but may not always apply to items sold by us through other means. We undertake to supply goods that remain free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of the warranty but this does not cover failure caused by misuse, excessive wear & tear, or accidental damage. In particular, speaker drivers will not be repaired or replaced under warranty if the damage has been caused by overloading. Microphones will not be repaired or replaced under warranty if damage has been caused by corrosion resulting from a failure to keep the microphone clean & dry.
2) Warranties are not transferable, so apply to the person named on the sales invoice only. It is their responsibility to return any faulty goods to us at their expense. If the warranty claim is successful, we will repair or, at our discretion, replace the item and will then return it to them at our expense. We do not accept any liability for consequential loss caused by failure of the equipment.
3) We do not supply goods to buyers outside of the UK and only accept payment in Sterling. Buyers in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly may face increased delivery times. You are welcome to email us before placing your order to check stock availability and anticipated delivery date. Unfortunately we are not able to deliver items with a shipping weight of more than 30KG to Northern Ireland.
4) Once you have placed your order, confirmation of the details will be sent via email complete with Transaction and Order Reference Numbers. This email does not constitute acceptance of the order. We reserve the right to cancel orders due to concerns over fraud, if incomplete or incorrect address/contact details have been supplied, due to lack of product availability or due to errors with the product description or pricing. All orders are manually reviewed by our staff and if accepted we will email you with a VAT invoice and delivery details.
5) Credit card payments are processed by SAGE PAY who are the UK's largest independent Payment Service Provider. If you choose to pay by credit or debit card you will be automatically re-directed to a secure SAGE PAY payment page. Your card details can then be entered using 128 bit secure encryption. 8) If your item is not in stock for any reason, we will email you with the expected delivery date. If your item is not in stock, we will give you the option to cancel you order and receive a full refund.
9) It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the goods ordered are suitable for the purpose for which they are required. We do not sell on a "sale or return" basis and will not normally make a refund for goods that are ordered in error. The exception to this rule is that we comply with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Under these regulations we grant a cooling off period of 14 days to consumer customers, starting from the date that the goods are delivered. The regulations allow customers to inspect the goods upon receipt, to make sure they are happy with them, however they should not be used or handled more than necessary. Specifically, the goods shouldn't be handled or used more than would be expected if you were looking at them in a shop. This consumer regulation does not apply to orders placed by businesses or organisations. If consumer customers decide not to keep the goods after inspecting them, they must let us know before the end of the14 day period. They will then be required to return the goods at their own expense. We do not accept any liability for returned goods until we receive them, so recommend the use of an insured courier. If customers meet with these conditions and if the condition of the returned goods is "as new", we will grant a full refund of the original payment within 7 days of our receipt of the goods. If the goods shown any signs of wear & tear caused by use or excessive handling, we will make an appropriate deduction from the amount refunded to cover the loss in value of this stock.
10) We are considered a data controller under the 2018 Data Protection Act therefore are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office - Registration Number ZA899959.
