The Sennheiser EW100-G4-935-S-GB is a state-of-the-art handheld radio mic system designed for live sound. This system includes a rugged but lightweight aluminium transmitter with integrated mute switch.
The transmitter is fitted with a Sennheiser E935 microphone capsule, which is a dynamic design with a cardioid pick-up pattern. This particular model has been designed to work particularly well for rock bands on loud stages. The E935 has a shorter basket with improved internal pop-filter and the tonal character of the mic reponds well to close miked vocals. The cardioid pattern of the mic avoids the rear-lobe characteristic of a super-cardioid mic, which can be helpful when stage-monitors or IEMs are used.
