The Sennheiser EW-IEM-G4-E system is a double kit containing 2 x beltpacks and 2 x pairs of IE4 earphones with a single SR-IEM-G4-E transmitter.
The beltpacks features 'Focus Mode' which allows this dual system to be used in two different ways :
i) In default Stereo Mode, a stereo mix is fed into the transmitter and each beltpack hears the same stereo mix. As would be expected, a signal fed into the left input on the transmitter will be heard in the left earbud and a signal fed into the right input on the transmitter will be heard in the right earbud.
ii) In Focus Mode, two seperate monitor mixes are fed into the transmitter. The Up and Down buttons on the beltpack allow users to select whether they hear Mix 1, Mix 2 or an adjustable blend of both. The pack operates in mono when used in focus mode, so the chosen monitor mix is heard in both earbuds.

Range E ( 823-865 MHz )
Range E is a flexible choice for use in the UK and across Europe. Without a licence it can be used in the UK between 863-865 MHz. This is enough bandwidth to allow the use of upto 3 x IEM systems simultaneously.
With a UK radio mic licence, it can be used between 823-832 MHz. This falls under the scope of the revised licence brought into effect in April 2015. This is sufficient bandwidth to alllow the use of upto 9 x simultaneous IEM systems. Access to 823-832 MHz is also well co-ordinated across Europe.
