The Nexo NXAMP4x2 MKII provides the flexibility, sound quality and portability of the NXAMP4x1 MKII, but with higher power output figures. Presets are provided to allow use of the entire range of Nexo speakers and subs. The 4 x channels can be setup to work together, for crossover applications, or as 4 x completely separate channels. Impressive load drive capability down to 2-ohms, allows multiple cabinets to be connected to each of these 4 x channels if required.
As standard, the NXAMP4x2 MKII is supplied with 4 x high-end balanced analogue XLR inputs, using 'cascaded type' digital-to-analogue converters to offer excellent dynamic range and 32 bit / 96KHz resolution. If required, optional AES/EBU, Ethersound, Dante or AES67 expansion cards can be fitted to allow digital input instead.
The Class D power amplifier stage of NXAMP4x2 MKII uses a unique proprietary LSI chip which delivers upto 4 x 2500W into 2 ohms. A universal power supply capable of operating across a wide voltage range ( 100-240V at 50/60Hz AC ) allows use worldwide. PFC technology used in this power supply ensures high efficiency and smooth current draw.
A 4.3 inch colour touchscreen allows setup of the amp and monitoring of its status. System configuration, EQ, patching, gain, delay parameters can be adjusted, plus scenes can be created and recalled.
The amp includes a multicore ARM CPU and 3 x multicore DSPs to allow plenty of processing power for future updates. 2 x RJ45 data-ports are provided to allow for remote control, firmware update and daisy chaining of NXAMP MKII devices.
The amp will fit into a standard 2U of rack-space and weighs just 16.1KG. Power input uses a locking Powercon NAC3 connector. We supply the amp with a 2M Powercon cable terminated in a 13A UK 3-pin mains plug.
