Overview
The RCF TTS 18-A II is a high output subwoofer with a single 18 inch LF driver designed primarily for use with RCF TT+ speakers. The advanced design of the woofer includes a lightweight neodymium magnet, inside-outside copper 4 inch voice coil, silicon double spiders and a treated water resistant cone. The voicecoil and magnet have been designed to minimise power compression, to maximise performance and dynamics when driven hard. The amplifier is an efficient, lightweight Class D type, capable of 1400W RMS output and peak output upto 2800W.
The TTS18A-II has provides an M20 threaded pole mount on the top and side face, to allow the sub to be used horizontally or vertically. RDNet is provided to allow remote monitoring and control.
Power input is on Powercon and a Powercon link-thru socket is also provided.
The crossover frequency is variable between 50Hz and 100Hz. Bass performance is flat down to an impressively low 30Hz ( -3dB ) and peak output level is 137dB.
